Since 1910, Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers (MRCE) has provided professional services for geotechnical and foundation engineering and design of underground and waterfront structures. Concentrating our work in these specialized areas enables the partners, associates, and staff engineers to keep abreast of technological developments and performance observations. Solving the difficult foundation and special structure problems on a wide variety of assignments has developed and maintained our expertise in all phases of foundation engineering.

One of MRCE's early projects, a sheeted and braced excavation underway for the Equitable Building in lower Manhattan, 1913

Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers is the nation's first engineering firm to combine a geotechnical specialty with structural foundation design engineering. More than 10,500 projects have been completed in the United States and around the world.

The remaining portion of our work involves geotechnical studies including analyses of site conditions, soil and rock properties and performance of subsurface materials. MRCE is an ENR Top 500 Design Firm with our offices in New York City , NY.
