Mr. Deming joined MRCE in 1979. He was selected as Partner in 1998. He is experienced with all aspects of soil mechanics and foundation engineering, and has worked extensively throughout the United States . His work includes the planning and supervision of subsurface investigations and testing for site definition, geotechnical analysis and design, and the preparation of design recommendation reports. He has prepared contract documents for hazardous site remediation, corrective work and rehabilitation for failed construction, earthwork, temporary structures, and foundations for new structures. Mr. Deming is 40 hr HAZWOPER trained and experienced in management of construction inspection projects. Mr. Deming has led failure investigation projects, and has provided expert witness support for many important engineering and construction cases.

Mr. Deming has a wide range of experience in engineering and foundation design, but has a special interest in the design and construction of ground water control barriers and artificial ground freezing for temporary ground support. Mr. Deming has a developed a special expertise in the preparation of contract drawings and technical specifications for construction. Mr. Deming manages seismic engineering projects for the firm, working with MRCE seismic specialists to provide practical evaluations and designs for seismic load accommodation.
